Lydia Shum (沈殿霞) or "Fei Fei" (肥肥) passed away at 8.38 a.m. on 19 February 2008 at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong due to complications from liver cancer. She was 63 years old.
I'll forever remember her as the bubbly and talented artist who brought so much laughter to me whenever I watch her show. She proves that you don't need to be a size 0 to be successful, especially in the entertainment industry. It's such a great loss to the Chinese entertainment scene because there is no replacement for such a legendary artist.
Rest In Peace, 肥姐 (Lydia).

So sad but then it is a good thing also as she no longer have to suffer. Definitely she will be missed, especially her signature laughter.
