My favourite idol, Sammi Cheng performed a 2 nites show on Friday and Saturday @ Genting (June 22 - 23). Initially my plan was to go to Hong Kong for her 'SHOW MI' concert in May but because of some unforeseen circumstances, our trip has to be canceled. I was super duper excited when I received the news that Sammi will be coming over to M'sia to perform. In fact, M'sia is the only stop in S.E.A before her next tour in Toronto.
So me, my sister and cousin sister decided to buy the ticket for RM187 /person at a discounted price. Thanks to my sister, we managed to grab some pretty good seats. Also my appreciation to my cousin who drove us all the way up to Genting and crawled down safely (I have been blessed with great sisters!).
Before the concert, we had a little snack @ First World. We bought 4 pcs of Dorayaki @ RM6.50 and you can choose the filling which are strawberry jam, peanut butter or kaya. Dorayaki is a 2 layered japanese pancake. The texture is soft and it tastes so good when eaten hot. It is also Doraemon's favourite food. We went to Starbucks to have a cuppa with the snacks.

To me, the concert was a BLAST! I Super HIGH! We shouted, we clapped, we even got up from my seat and start dancing with my sister and cousin when Sammi was singing the fast tracks! Her performance was superb. Her singing style has changed to a more matured level. The only limitation to her performance was the stage is too small. This is the 4th concert I saw Sammi performed in M'sia (I even bought the most expensive ticket during her 2001 concert and went alone!).
But there are some people who are willing to spent money buying expensive tickets but just sit there and yak! Ya ... two fellas sitting behind me was yakking about some stuff (nothing to do with the concert) and shouting on top of their lungs! If you want to yak, go to a mamak shop la and its cheaper some more ... duh!
And then there's this girl seating in front of us who was resting her head on her boyfriend's shoulder the whole 2 hours-15 mins performance. If you are sick or sleepy just go home la ... duh duh!
But these people will not spoil my mood but really there are a lot of duh people out there ... unfortunately!

I'm definitely going to Hong Kong for her next concert. No doubt about it. I'm one of her many many loyal and devoted fan.
